Interactive Gaming
The PlayStation camera precisely tracks the position of your VR Headset and any accessories you are using. Including the PlayStation Move controller, DualShock 4 wireless controller and PS VR aim controller. Enabling you to interact with your favourite games and enhance the experience and enjoyment.
Ever wondered what it would be like for others to see what you are enjoying in your VR worlds? With Mirror mode you can do just that, so friends and family can see your encounters. So they can know why you suddenly scream or duck.
You can also have a separate mode where friends and join in with your VR games on a TV screen.
Media Player and 3D Blu-ray Playback
Previously created 360-degree videos and photos can be viewed using the PlayStation 4 Media Player. Simply insert the USB stick with the content on it, and you are ready to explore real-life worlds. Now you don’t just take a photo, or record a video, you create an experience to be immersed within.
Watch your 3D Blu-ray films in a whole new way, with the PS 4 VR headset. The incredible stereoscopic 3D offers a new way to enjoy your film collection for an event that you will not forget.
Play supported PS VR games on PlayStation®5
Playing PS VR games on a PS5™ console requires a PS VR headset, PlayStation®Camera for PS4™ (Model CUH-ZEY1 or CUH-ZEY2) and a PlayStation®Camera adaptor (all included in the bundle).
For the best PS VR experience on PS5 we recommend using a DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller. Selected games may require PlayStation®Move motion controllers or be compatible with the PlayStation®VR aim controller. The new HD camera for PS5™ is not compatible with PS VR. The PS VR headset, PS Camera, DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller, PS Move controllers and PS VR aim controller are all sold separately from PS5™.
